Previously On The Faculty At Stanford And The University Of Chicago, He Is The Author Of Three Books, Including Theory Z: How American Management Can Meet The Japanese Challenge. A Longtime Civic Activist, He Served As Chief Of Staff To Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan From 1993-1995. He Lives In Santa Monica, California.
