Rafael Lpez Grew Up In Mexico City And His Art Is Strongly Influenced By The Work Of Mexican Muralists. He Has Created Many Large Murals For Public Spaces And Was A Leader In The Creation Of The Urban Art Trail Project In Downtown San Diego. For His First Book, My Name Is Celia, Lpez Successfully Adapted His Colorful, Exuberant Style To The Small Scale Of Children's Books. He Lives In San Diego, California, With His Wife And Their Young Son.
