Mercedes Iturbe Was Born In Mexico City. Iturbe Has Worked For Mexican Television And Served As Assistant Director Of The Mexican Cultural Center In Paris From 1980 To 1989. She Has Served As General Director Of The Festival Internacional Cervantino And Director Of The Instituto De Cultura For The State Of Morelos. She Is Currently Director Of The Museum Of The Palacio De Bellas Artes. She Regularly Publishes On Painting, Sculpture, And Photography And A Variety Of Cultural Subjects In Mexico And Abroad.
