Born In 1957 In Ezanville, France, Francois Place Published His First Illustrations For Children's Books In 1983. The Award-Winning Last Giants (Godine, 1992) Confirmed His Talents As A Writer And Illustrator, And A Voyage Of Discovery (2001) Won The Grand Prize At The Bologna Children's Book Fair. His Most Recent Book With Godine Is The Acclaimed Old Man Mad About Drawing (2004).
