Don Freeman Began Writing And Illustrating Childrens Books In The 1940S. He Was The Award-Winning Author Of Many Popular Titles, Including "Corduroy, Dandelion, Manuelo The Playing Mantis," And The Caldecott Honor Book "Fly High, Fly Low." He Died In 1978.
