Smart Cat And The Foolish Cow

A Satire and A Fable. Three stories for young children with drawings illustrating the text, each illustrate a simple lesson. In the first, The Election, the gorilla replaces the lion as the king - the lion was too greedy for power. In The Smart Cat, the monkey wants to be the king's messenger, although the cat is more suitable and so wins the contest. And In The Foolish Cow, the cow presents her tail as a present to the gorilla king - a foolish act because it was no use to the gorilla, and the cow suffered without it.
