Marc Camille Chaimowicz

Celebration Realife. Born in Paris, and today living in Dijon and London, Chaimowicz is known as an artist invested in the intimate and personal, whose work draws from literature, pop music, and a trademark queer romanticism. The installation piece that is the focus of this book is his best-known work: a glittery, music-infused environment halfway between a David Bowie stage set and Marcel Prousts bedroom, and an environment in which the artist himself resided, serving tea and coffee to visitors.
